After sightseeing around the lake, drive back to Leh reaching in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 04 Leh - Khardong la - Leh
Morning excursion to Khardong-La (80 kms round trip / alt: 18,380 ft.), highest motorable pass in the world. The pass on the Ladakh range lies north of leh and is the gateway to the Shyok and Nubra valleys. Rest of the day free to explore the markets for shopping etc. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 03 Pengong Lake - Leh
After early breakfast drive to back to Leh half day sightseeing of Shey, Thiksey & Hemis. Shey was the summer Palace of Ladakhi Kings and is where you can see the 36Ft. high statue of Buddha made of copper and covered with gold. Thicksey : The twelve storied monastery of Thicksey is situated in the most prominent of positions, lies on an island Mountain. Finally visit;
Hemis : Hemis Monastery existed before the 11th century, the monastery was re-established in 1672. Back to hotel dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 04 Leh -Khardongla Pass - Leh
After breakfast excursion to Khardong-La (80 kms round trip / alt: 18,380 ft.), highest motorable pass in the world. Day 05 Leh - Alchi - Leh
After breakfast drive to Alchi, approx 2 hour drive (67Km). Situated to the west of the town of Leh. Built by Translator, Rinchen Zangpo, The monastery complex was built, according to local tradition, by the great translator Guru Rinchen Zangpo between 958 and 1055. Alchi Monastery of Leh Ladakh reflects an Indian touch, especially in its paintings. Back to Leh. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 06 Nubra Valley to Leh

Day 01: Drive Manali Rohtang Pass Koksar Keylong
Depart Manali early in the morning our first halt is Marhi a barren landscape offering extensive views of the valley and the mountains. We proceed to Rohtang Pass 3790 M is most popular with visitors, being one of the highest road point and gateway to LAHAUL and SPITI valleys. Pass remains closed during winter due to heavy snow from November end to May end. Visitors can drive upto MARHI below ROHTANG with similar high altitude topography, forest of Birch, Fir and Spurce. Once we cross the Rohtang Pass border we are in the Barren Himalayas with the landscape completely changing Khoksar is the first village and gate way to Lahaul. Night stay in Keylong.( O/N at the hotel at jispa or keylong)

Day 02: Drive Keylong - Darcha - Sarchu
Get prepared for the most interesting overland high altitude drive up to Leh. May take approx 10 hours. You will arrive at Darcha ( 3500 Meter) is situated at the junction of Yotche Nullah and the Zangskar chhu which takes off from the Shinkun la. Both these nullahs meet with the main river Bhaga at this place. This is the main point for the trek lovers wish to enter in Zanskar valley or up to Leh. Your drive from this place will take to BaraLacha Pass ( 1620 Ft) and further drive to Sarchu which is nearly the mid point of Manali Leh route. Check in at your Deluxe Camp and spend a beautiful evening at the High altitude camp.( O/N at the camp at Sarchu)

Day 03: Sarchu to Leh
After early breakfast leave for Leh en-route crossing Nakeela and Lachalung-la Pass (16,617 ft.). Break for lunch at Pang and then drive onwards Leh passing through Skyangchu Thang (a vast plateau stretching for 42 kms) and then crossing Taglang-La (17,585ft) and driving through the upper Indus Valley. Reach Leh by evening. Your further drive will take you to Upsi by crossing river Indus and follow the highway up to Leh. ( O/N at the hotel at leh )

Day 04: Leh
After breakfast drive to Nimo to witness the confluence of Zanskar& Indus River. Return to Leh enroute visiting Magnetic Hill and Gurudwara Pathar Sahib.( O/N at the hotel at leh )

Enroute visit Stok Palace, famous for beautiful gardens and the view of sunrise as well as sunset is amazing from the palace. At present, the palace is open to visits and presents a collection of royal attires, crown and other royal materials. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Leh.

Day 05 Leh - Nubra Valley
Breakfast at the hotel. Early Morning Leave Leh for NUBRA VALLEY passing through Horzey & Gangles Village. The road then rises to reach Khardongla (5602 Mts.) the world's highest Motorable road & enjoy the landscape & the beautiful birds eye view of the Leh town. at Khardongla village. Later proceed to Khalsar at Shyok Valley 35 Kms by drive. The road after crossing Khalsar Bridge at Shyok River enters Nubra Valley & then proceed along the Nubra River to arrive in the afternoon (O/N stay at Camp in Nubra valley )

Day 06 Nubra to Leh
Breakfast at the Camp. Drive back the same route for Leh with picnic lunch. On arrival in Leh, check in at the Hotel. Afternoon free for leisure, evening visit Leh bazaar for souvenir, visit Leh Jokhang or Leh Mosque by foot. (O/N stay at Hotel in leh)

Day 07 Leh - TsoMoriri
Early departure from Leh to Tsomo-riri Lake (alt: 15,000 ft.) driving through Chumathang (hot springs), Mahe and Puga Sumdo. Tsomoriri Lake (28 km long & about 8 km wide) is the breeding ground of many migratory birds including the rare barheaded geese. Dinner and overnight stay at Camp.

Day 08 Tsomoriri to Sarchu
After breakfast retrace the route down to Puga Sumdo and then follow the road across the Polokongka Pass (4920 mtrs) to visit Tsokar Lake, a salt lake system in the Rupsho plateau which is home of the Changa nomads and support many rare wild life species. After sightseeing of the area take route toward Sarchu. Overnight stay at Camp in Sarchu.

Day 09 Sarchu to Manali
Post breakfast you begin your journey beautiful manali via magnificent Rothang pass, the memories of your Ladakh journey the sights and sounds you have experienced, the wonders you have witnessed.
